Next Possession was founded by Cole Tice, a licensed sports agent in Alabama currently completing a Master of Legal Studies at Arizona State University, with law school ahead. The agency grew out of a simple observation: athletes and entertainers put in the work on the court, the field, or the stage — the job here is making sure that work turns into something lasting once the lights go down.
That background — coming up through the licensing and legal side of representation, not marketing alone — shapes how the agency operates. Contracts get read closely. Deals get built for long-term value, not just a quick payout. And every partnership starts with actually understanding what the athlete or entertainer wants, not just how big their platform is.
The name comes from the simplest idea in sports: the game doesn't stop after one possession. There's always another one — another chance to adjust, build, and get into better position. That's the mindset applied off the field, too.
The agency currently services Alabama, with the flexibility to work with athletes and entertainers wherever they're based.
Built on an actual agent license and legal training, not a marketing background alone.
Deals are structured to hold up over a career, not just to close fast.
Basketball is the core focus, with room for entertainment partnerships alongside it.
